Ellansé S 1ml is a first-generation collagen-stimulating dermal filler from the Ellansé family, providing immediately visible correction of wrinkles and volume loss with results that last approximately 1 year. The “S” in Ellansé S stands for the shortest duration in the range (around 12 months), which makes it an excellent option for patients trying a biostimulatory filler for the first time or those who don't require the longer duration of Ellansé M, L, or E. Ellansé S is composed of the same technology – polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres in a CMC gel – but engineered to resorb a bit faster (hence the 1-year duration). Upon injection, it provides an instant filling effect for lines and folds, and over time it induces the body’s natural collagen production around the microspheres. This dual-action means that even as the product gradually breaks down, the skin’s firmness and volume are maintained by new collagen. Patients get a smooth, natural-looking result that addresses signs of aging like nasolabial folds, marionette lines, or volume-deficient areas, with the assurance that the product will naturally metabolize in about a year. Ellansé S contains the same fundamental components as Ellansé M, with a similar constitution but possibly a slightly different polymer chain length or molecular weight distribution for PCL leading to a shorter duration. In Ellansé S, the polymer chain of PCL might be shorter (meaning it hydrolyzes faster) or present in a slightly lower concentration than in longer-lasting versions.
